REGISTRATION NUMBERING SYSTEM |
A. |
The Fjord Horse Registry of Scotland & Fjord Horse UK
registration numbering system consists of a fifteen digit Unique
Equine Life Number (UELN).
1.
The first three digits determine the country that issued
the horse passport. The UK identification number is 826.
2. The second three digits identifies the studbook as being a
government approved Passport Issuing Organisation.
The
FHRS number is 059.
3. In practice this code will never be maintained as
two separate fields and will be issued as a single digit code.
